The Department is engaged in creating organic materials including heteroelements containing silicon, fluorine, and metallic elements and studies to upgrade the processes for synthesizing functional materials and making glucoxides more functional at higher dimensions. These studies aim to create next-generation industrial technologies for effectively utilizing natural resources, silicon-based polymers, environmental-friendly refrigerants, organic magnets, and biologically active compounds. The development of useful technologies that will contribute directly to preserving and protecting the global environment and the advancement of the chemical industry are also expected.
