Preparation of a Gold Organosol in Chloroform and its Discolouration by Photoirradiation

A gold organosol in chloroform prepared from acetylpyridinium chloride-stabilized gold hydrosol was discoloured by photoirradiation owing to the dissolution of colloidal gold particles.
