The acidimetric titration of sulfamic acid with electrogenerated hydroxide ions was studied. The accuracy of the method was determined by examining the dependencies on the storage time of sulfamic acid solution, amount of sulfamic acid, time required for the titration, etc. The precision and accuracy obtained were 0.01%. The coulometric titration of sulfamic acid was compared with that of potassium hydrogenphthalate of known purity. To determine the effect of carbon dioxide, examining the dependence on the sample amount is recommended.
