Comments are made on the paper entitled "Energy Losses of Subexcitation Charged Particles in Polar Media" by S.V. Stepanov. It is pointed out that his modifications for the Tachiya-Sano theory are trivial and do not affect the final results. It is also pointed out that one of his modifications is even wrong.
