High-pressure infrared spectra of liquid and solid CH2F2 were measured to 13 GPa at 300 K with DAC. Four solid phase have been found and their transition pressures were determined to be 2.63 (liquid-solid I), 3.82 (I-II), 5.90 (II-III) and 8.20 GPa (III-IV). The solid phase I was shown to be an orientationally disordered phase. Frequency change was observed for the fundamental vibrations at each transition pressure, and drastic change took place more clearly in their combination bands.
