[Proceedings of JSCES, Vol. 3, No. 1, pp. 37-38, 1998]

This paper describes the fictitious boundary method based on principle of superposition of Green function for two- dimensional elastic problem. This analysis method is considered to be an indirect boundary method of boundary integral equation methods. When the original domain is decomposed to several subdomains, characteristic matrices of the global system consist of non-symmetric sparse matrices. We solve them by generalized minimum residual method with incomplete LDU decomposition as a preconditioner. The numerical results are demonstrated and the effectivenes is discussed.
