[Proceedings of the Conference on Computational Engineering and Science, Vol. 4, No. 2, pp. 983-984, 1999]

This paper describes the fictitious boundary method based on principle of superposition of Green function for three-dimensional elastic problem. When the original domain is decomposed to several sub-domains, characteristic matrices of the global system by this formulation consist of non-symmetric sparse matrices. We solve them by generalized minimum residual method with incomplete LDU decomposition as a preconditioner.
