Application of Supercritical Fluid Extraction and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography to the Environmental Analysis

Analytical methods using supercritical fluid extraction(SFE)and supercritical fluid chromatography(SFC)applied to the environmental samples have been developed in regard to the instrumentation and the application to real samples. We describe here(1)SFE for herbicides residues and its application to real sample analysis, (2)SFC for organochlorine pollutants with electron-capture detection and its application to real sample analyses, and(3)on-line coupling of SFE with SFC for the rapid determination of herbicides residues.
